Ripcord2™ Single-Chip ICs
The Ripcord2™ product family are single-chip 65nm all-CMOS ICs based upon the WiMedia and Certified Wireless USB specifications. The highly-integrated silicon includes RF, digital baseband, MAC, memory, processor, I/O and 128-bit AES encryption engine. The various supported I/O are USB 2.0 Host, USB 2.0 Device, and SDIO 2.0 Device.
SC4501: Native Device SDIO Solution intended for next generation embedded Certified Wireless USB device or streaming audio/video applications interfacing directly to the system processor through SDIO.
SC4502: Native Device USB/Device Wire Adapter (DWA) solution for direct connection to a system processor through the USB 2.0 device interface or offers an easy upgrade path to Certified Wireless USB for existing wired USB peripherals using the USB 2.0 host interface.
