Ripcord Streaming Services
The Ripcord Control Library Streaming Services (RCL-SS) enables new services and usage models for WiMedia enabled devices. It has application level interfaces to manage broadcast, on demand and streaming of video, music or photos. The streaming services manage quality of service and provide support for real time media. The library resides on the application host processor and is operating system agnostic to enable easy porting to a variety of embedded systems. RCL-SS manages the protocol and transport complexity. It is provided as ANSI C source code with platform specific interfaces wrapped behind a thin porting layer. RCL-SS interfaces to a Ripcord IC via either a USB or SDIO interfaces.
